I have a feeling I'll be using the new boat this year.

Both my kids have an AAU basketball tournament that weekend. So, I'll be driving to and fro and watching many basketball games. Don't know when I'll get out Muskie fishing. Hopefully some time the week after.

I'm actually looking forward more to my next saltwater trip for Tarpon. Muskie fishing is OK, but I find Tarpon so much more fun and challenging. They fight and jump like there is no tomorrow. Most of the larger Muskies that I've hooked over the past five years have just sat there shaking their head and had to be coaxed to run. And even when they did take off its like three 30 yard runs and they are done. Big Tarpon can take off on a 250 yard run and won't quit until they are exhausted. And I can get as many Tarpon on in a day as I can Muskies all year.

Now if I could just talk my wife and kids into moving to Florida.

Been out on the Fox Chain a couple of times already w/nothing to show for it.
Will probably fish for bass & walleyes for a couple weeks & let the water warm
up a little. Still keep the ski pole in the boat....just won't throw for them
exclusively.
