Random quote: After about a half-mile the fella stopped and stooped over, with his hands on his thigh's to catch his breath, and the Game Warden finally caught up to him."Let's see yer fishin' license, boy," the Warden gasped.

I was curious what people are using to paint their baits and clear coat them, I dont have any air brushes so im leaning toward shaker cans.

The Glidin' Raps are African Abachi wood if that matters. I have repainted one that was pretty beat up- I can't remember if I used spray can or createx but I know I used e-tex for the clear. It turned out ok, I didn't do enough prep but it's good enough for my personal use.

I love the golden shiner pattern (foil) and found that the hook rash eventually leads to the foil peeling so now when I get a new one I will throw a thin coat or two of clear on it to help preserve it.
