| Has anybody owned or fished from one of these? Looked at one at a boat show recently and the SC model looked like it would be great to fish out of and a lot of boat for the money. The dealer said it was pretty new and he had not sold one yet but had tested it at a dealer outing and really liked it. Also comes in a tiller model, that will take up to a 90hp but since this is a boat for my retirement years, I think want a console to get behind when October and November get cold. Getting to the point I value my comfort. |

Location: Antigo Wi. | My brother bought one of these boats last year, the 1850 DC , with a fiull windshield, fishes great as we usually have 3 guys. The only downside that we could find was it sits high in the water and makes releasing fish a ittle more difficult. We will be taking it to LOTW this summer, looking forward to fishing out of it up there. |

| Thanks, the 1850 was also at the show and looked like a very nice boat, just more than I need. |

| I agree with the higher freeboard makes this a better walleye boat than bass/muskie. I seriously looked at the new 16 foot tiller and that was the reason I did not pursue. |

| Interesting comments about the height. The cover photo for the brochure I got shows a guy casting a large rubber bait with a long heavy rod, so they clearly were trying to attract musky/pike fishermen. Again, thanks for the input. |

Location: Maine Township, MN | If you go to http://www.larsonfxseries.com/1750-dc/ It's clearly marketed to muskie anglers, but no storage for 9' rods? |

| One of the side lockers will take 8 ft rods but the center will not. However, I checked out the one at the show and the back end of the locker drops down so in a pinch you could leave the handle stick out, which would be better than on the decks. My thought was that if I got one, I would modify the box with some similar poly material and extend it. Right now I have all telescoping rods so it is not big problem for me. |

Location: Maine Township, MN | Looks like a nice rig for the $$$ though. I'm glad I won't be upgrading for a few years. I feel these "multi-species" boats are just on the cusp of being perfect for muskie angling. Until the other MFG's follow, my personal choice would be a Skeeter mostly because of the longer rod storage and they just look so #*^@ cool. |

| I didn't really get to fish out of it, but it definately rode nice and handled the chop very well...for the value/price its a great boat thats versatile for the all-around boater/fisherman/family man. |

| I own this boat. I dont fish for muskies, but I hook a stray one every now and then. Although there is no boat that is everything to everyone, this one (for the money) has excellent quality and rides as nice as any other out there. Here is a video of me wheeling in a 46" while fishing for bass. 6 ft rod; medium. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151630950727880&set=vb.635092... |
