Location: Addison,IL./ Hayward Wi. Chippewa Flowage | Thank you for the compliment. I'm still painting with spray cans and hoping to find the time to learn how to air brush. Any recommendations on the best type of air brush to use would be appreciated. I did make the tails. I use stainless ,brass ,and copper. I also engrave my logo in the tail. |

Location: WI | It's my opinion that you need two guns. I use a paasche single stage external mix gun for base coating and heavier stuff. I have a few dual stage guns for finer work. Iwata eclipses are good. The paasche is only 75 bucks and comes with different tips. You can also learn finer stuff on a cheaper dual stage. I bought a cheap gravity cup gun at fleet farm years ago that still works well. But the Iwatas are in a different league. I would also recommend a airbrush compressor vs a reg one. Quiet and consistent pressure. |
