Besides a leatherman and some obvious zip-ties, what other tools do you think should be kept onboard a small fishing craft at all times for doing improvised repairs and such? Keeping in mind that space and weight are at a premium of course.

I keep a Knipex Cobra pliers (you can do almost anything with these), #2 phillips screw driver, 1/4" flat head screw driver, crescent wrench, and a set of allen wrenches. Also, make sure you have a lug wrench to fit your trailer tires! I found that one out the hard way.... Crescent wrench got the job done though.

extra pliers, screw driver(s), bolt/knipex cutters, knife (leatherman knife usually dont serve this purpose well), crescent wrench, duct tape, lighter is what i would recommend.

throw in a first aid kit and if you got oarlocks bring some oars as a backup plan while on the subject of preparedness

Spark plug wrench or socket and ratchet, channel lock type pliers, gorilla tape, 6 way screwdriver, prop wrench, mallet/hammer and a small block of wood.
