Posts: 131 Location: Lake St. Clair | I know there was a #*#* load of ice a week or two ago. I was hearing between 20-24". The weather has been warm and this week looks like it will be warm with some rain mixed in. This should help I would think. Does anybody know what is actually going on? I am speaking of the lakes in the Webster area.

Posts: 462 Location: Syracuse, Indiana | Backwater ramp is open. Backwater Lake is 50+% open. The channel is open to Yellow Banks - and some guy on a 4-wheeler drove past (on the ice) maybe 150 yards from my boat. The main lake is solid. Good news - it was great to be on the water and the boat ran perfectly. Bad news - I'll post elsewhere.

Posts: 20219 Location: oswego, il | Dead shad typical of a hard winter. Will be a tough pre spawn bite. Edited by ToddM 4/8/2014 8:55 AM
