Great show today! Hardly anyone there - could move around and talk to anyone you wanted.

The guy selling the pistol grip net handles was a riot! Stop by and talk to him, I think he was the highlight of the show for me. Hahaha. Great product too - for $15 you cant go wrong if you fish by yourself.

The Cannonballs sucked me in - had to have one.

Lots of great people there today with some pretty sweet new baits. Wish I could go back tomorrow!

That's a ROBOHANDLE. The darn thing works. Keith used one on the biggest net Frabill makes a couple weeks ago when he was fishing muskies in new Mexico, and was amazed at how easy it was to handle the net alone. No more 'the net is too big and heavy'.

We call him Jackie Chan! The guy will drink you under the table and party you out! He is awesome!!! Tell you what, his product is great too. Put one of those handles on my shop broom and I can't get my son to stop sweeping. For the price you have to get one of these handles for your nets. One hand and your netting your fish with ease. Buy more as they work great on brooms and shovels too.

We are leaving town at 8:00 this morning, dropping the wife off in Eau Claire to go wedding venue shopping with the future daughter in law. I wil be picking up my son in Minnetonka and going to the show. I will be the old dude with the even older Shimano hat.

Any chance there were specials on Big Nasty's? Out of town on business, but I've got friends down there!

x5 on the ROBOHANDLE. Definitely worth a visit to his booth. The guy oozes passion, energy, and offers a multi-purpose product I just had to pick up for the wife to go along with the broom & dustpan I got her for xmas.

All kidding aside, another booth I highly recommend patronizing is Ghost Tails (for bucktails that have that halo around them in the water). Fred & the boys there strive to set you up with the correct colours & sizes no matter where you fish and if you don't see it, he can make it.

Lastly, we ran into Wade (maker of Wade's wobbler & other Wade-Made creations) in the Reeds booth and he was gracious enough to talk with us for over 30 minutes. I was a little star-struck after that encounter & barely had enough cash left for a beer brat.

Headin back today cuz I jest found another $50 in my wife's purse.

Tackle Industries has them in the booth. 80#, 100#, 130#, 150# and a few trolling and night leaders.

Was at the show last night with my 5 year old daughter from 4:30-8:00. All I can say is my kid is a trooper. She was perfect! She painted a couple lures, built a bucktail, and talked to the "guy who fished for sharks" aka Mike Keyes. Mike was awesome talking to my little girl. Then he walked us over to his booth and gave her a KO hat and told her she could be in his magazine when she takes a picture with a fish wearing his hat. It honestly was all she talked about the whole ride home, talking to mom when she got home, and fell asleep talking about it. And oh yeah, woke up this morning talking about the "magazine" picture.

The evolution of the show and how kid friendly is truly amazing. I go on Friday to entertain my daughter...Mission accomplished!

Tonight is all about ME :o) Going back to the show to chat with vendors and resorts and then the swap.

Again, thank you Paul H. and everyone else that makes this a great event for little kids and "Big Kids."

Great time at the show yesterday!! The parking situation is a little suspect, however that all seems to fade once you walk through those doors. As my girlfriend said, I was like a kid in a candy store!! It's always a great time, seeing the new baits and talking muskies with everyone!!
