I went to the sport show in green bay today and came into a whole bunch of giant bodies to make spiners with. I will make about 25 or so and bring to the MN swap meet next week. I will donate 75% of what I make from them to this cause. All I would like is to get back what the lures cost to make. You get a big spinner(some are so big you will only be able to troll them) and help the cause. Not to mention, you will have a unique lure, the likes nobody or musky has ever seen.

Your post inspired me. I will also donate a percentage of whatever I take in on all my stuff at the Swap to the Leech Lake fund. How 'bout some of the rest of you guys? Without the Leech Lake strain muskies where would we all be?!

I bought a couple raffle tix to help the Leech lake strain esox. It is a really good cause and I am glad to see some people standing up for what is sure to be the future of all fishing, conservation. Being an avid waterfowler I know how important conservation is, the more people that start muskie fishing the more important it is going to be to keep the waters prestine, and the fish healthy. I hope my 10 bucks will help in maintaining the prime spawning grounds around 5 mile on Leech. I dont have a boat big enough to fish Leech, but we all know how important that strain of muskie is to the future of the sport. And, I might win a prize or a guided trip, so you really cant go wrong here. You can buy raffles at the Expo and you do not have to be in attendance to win prizes, but why wouldnt you be at the Expo??

Jim, maybe I can get somebody to take some pictures at the swap.

I have made 15 so far and they are 10-17" long. Will make 10 more no problem. The baits are big with some standard and some different color combinations. Big baits at a reasonable price to help out a great cause.:-)

ToddM: I will try to remember to bring my digital camera for you, but I got a feeling all your baits will sell at the Swap.
