I believe you are talking about the Pine lake north of Clintonville? If so, this lake is part of somwhat a small chain known to some as the cloverleaf chain. There are indeed muskies in there and some nice ones, however lots of pressure especially by the PWC's. Add in clear water and thick millfoil and things are tough. I personally have not hooked anything out there yet.

Yup, there are a few skis in there. I frequent it on occasion, and must admit, it is a rather humbling lake. If there were other alternatives in the area, I'd cetainly be fishing them.... but it is the closest musky water to my home. When faced with the choice of not fishing at all.... the Cloverleaf Lakes are a better option.

I fished the Cloverleaf Chain this weekend to scope it out, I had one follow and caught two mid 20's pike. There was lots of boat traffic yet due to the warm weather, I think it would be a good fall lake with little pressure.
