Was looking at the specs on this reel and it looks to be a reel nice all around reel..
THE GEAR RATIO IS A LIITLE DIFFERENT than the other reels out there...it's like in between the 5/1 and 6/1 reels and looks like the line pick up would make it a great Bucktail reel for Double 10's ???? Anyone use one last year?? Mke Jr

Yes, many of us have. In my opinion it is not great for tens unless really slow rolled. Handles 8's well, but tens are a bit too much resistance. I'm not sure whether it is the ratio at 5.6, or the size of the gear, which is smaller diameter than many of the other reels that are purported to work well with tens and that have similar ratios, such as 5.4 Toros etc, but either way it's more work than it should be.
