I had someone buy a rod from me that lives in Ohio and its out of speedee delivery range. Ups won't ship it and FedEx is trying to charge $77 to ship it. The total length is 110" I have no idea what to do. What do you recommend?

FedEx gave me the rate for 108" and it was still $77

I think it all depends on how far it is being shipped whether it is 108" or not.

Not sure why you're having a problem with UPS shipping. At the Musky Shop we ship long rods every day with UPS. Just gotta pay the oversize charge.

Location: Lakeville, MN | I shipped a couple rods ups that were over their length limit, they have never said no yet... maybe I've been lucky? Exec the time they broke my big nasty in 4 pieces. |

Go to the Fed-Ex store and just look for the clerk who seems to be the most mathematically challenged. Go to that one!
