Posts: 585 Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland | I count my "weight watchers points" everday. My wife just loves to pinch my little "cheeks." Wondering if I followed the PETA lifestyle if I would be skinnier? A monkey walked into to a bar with a man on his shoulder. The bar tender asked the monkey: "what's that." The monkey said: "spare parts."

Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | I am well on my way to new lifestyle. Down 8 pounds, 20 more to go. Working out 5x's a week. Nicorette gum works, I'm down to 3-4 pieces a day, less on weekends. Changing eating habits and have replaced numerous cans of Coca-Cola drank each day to one can, the rest have been replaced with water. I feel a hell-uva lot better already but it was tough to watch Theedz eat a big burger the other night knowing I can only have something like that every once in great while. Buns of steel, hardly, but a more lean mean fishing machine for sure..:)

Posts: 793 Location: Ames, Iowa | Sponge- "I've lowered my cholesterol." From 255 to 180. And that includes forgetting every other night to take my Lipitor. It's still dropping. Dropped about 12 lbs, with some more to go. Smaller portions everyday (you can live without butter), eat breakfast everyday to avoid work snacking, and I have willed myself to avoid the nightly trough of ice cream. Steve Worrall also put me onto squeezed lemon juice as a salad dressing, even though I've been pretty much a carnivore all my life. Not as much exercise as I need, although I do work with behaviorally challenged 8th graders- isn't that exercise? All the best, Don

Posts: 169 Location: Pewaukee, WI | Fell of the wagon Sunday...can you say mexican fiesta?. I am down 28 lbs though, 12 more to go. Work outs are going well with the help of my Chiropractor...my back is junk. Feel better, busted out some pants in the closet that have been out of the rotation for quite some time. I found Protein bars help me in the evening when Mr.hunger pain calls...instead of my nightly ritual which included pizza and coke. My local pizza guy has got to be depressed...I took his number off speed dial and his business has got to be hurtin' Sponge, I plan an aggressive breakfeast attack when at the Cave Run outing...we won't count calories for a few days!

Posts: 1438 | Curly- Got to watch me eat a big burger??? If you remember, I only ate about 1/2 the burger and 1/2 the fries. I don't call that eating...torture maybe. The burger and service was excellent though. (Back under 180 this morning) Scott
