Posts: 25 Location: NW Wisconsin | Contact Paul at The Smoke N Fly. He's got a used Towee Rivermaster for sale for $4800 I believe. Pretty good deal considering you won't have to travel a long ways to get one. 715-558-7474 Edited by SixOught 3/17/2014 1:23 PM

Posts: 182 | eightweight - 3/11/2014 9:50 PM have been looking at them and the boat only weighs 180 pounds easily 100 less than a fiberglass unit of same size Most of the drift boats out there are about 375 lbs.. I have found most of the companies give you the hull weight without anything installed. Love them in the river, but it is a bugger dragging them out of some rivers with steep banks choked with brush.

Posts: 209 | Mike I called Boulder and the CRT listed is $11,600 new so the $9300 is a deal. I called him and he is selling it to get a bigger boat. These seem very nice have you ever rowed one or seen one . they say the hull is like a cutting board materiel . What boat did you buy? Posts: 25 Location: NW Wisconsin | Another option for you is to call Midwest Drift Boat Sales in Saint Michael, MN and talk to Paul. He's the local Clacka rep and should be able to get you a boat shipped out here if he doesn't have one in stock. 763-443-2126 Edited by SixOught 3/17/2014 1:22 PM

Posts: 209 | I have talked to Paul if getting a clacka I would want the clackamax for the added room, what boat did you buy as above referenced another 5K and you would have bought the boulder CRT.. the guy selling the CRT is going to get a Stealthcraft there also very nice. problem is I would like to pick once but there are so many out there!!! SixOught - 3/12/2014 9:40 PM Yeah, $9300 for that boat is a pretty good deal. To me, any boat below MSRP in the midwest is a deal. The shipping or cost of pick up is really high for most people out here. If you have an opportunity to buy a boat local, even paying what the boat cost new would likely be worth it. So long as the previous owner took care not to ding up the chines too bad, then they'll last a very long time. Posts: 25 Location: NW Wisconsin | Corso - Ever been in a drift boat? Even they're not the most enjoyable boats to hold in current for long periods of time. It's usually just about slowing it down as much as possible or finding a good eddy to hold in. I'm not sure where you're from, but if you happen to be up in the Hayward area this spring, let me know and I'll try to get you out in mine for a few hours to let you row one. Translation: I will fish and you can row. Seems like a fair trade to me ![]() Edited by SixOught 3/15/2014 7:45 PM

Translation: I will fish and you can row. Seems like a fair trade to me ;) I know how to row. Thank you for the offer to build my rowing skills. I have a buddy that has a drift boat and have been at the oars on his. I may just stay with the jon boat. I have a nice set of oars from RO and I do like the electric trolling motor at times. The fish don't seem to care what they get released from. Thanks for the offer. Crap! It's snowing again.

Because at this point, I don't see spring arriving before then. If you have facebook, send MPLS Fly a message. He just posted someones Clackacraft Fly Pod w/ some small motor.
