I'm putting some lighting in my river boat and want to keep it cheap. I found some LED light strips(waterproof) that come in 15' rolls for a good price. They come in blue and white. I have no experience with these, but I do know how bright my 3-4 led headlamps are. I've never used blue lighting in a boat, but thought perhaps wouldn't be as 'blinding' as the white ones, and would serve as a party favor once back at camp.... Has anyone ever used these innexpensive strips, and has anyone had any experience with the blue color? Not looking for brand recomendations.

My pathfinder came stock with interior blue LED strips and they are great. Very little power draw, nice subtle light reflecting off the white interior with very little or no light spilling over into the night. You can't go wrong with 'em.

Thanks. I will try the blue, and order a strip of white as well. The strips I found are $7.99 for a 15' strip of 300 led's with 3m adhesive, waterproof. After looking at the blue-water site, these look quite similar so I'll give them a shot and let you know how they work out after a couple months.

Thanks again.
