| Is any body out there running one or have any info on the new E-Tec? Looking at the new Ranger 1780 VS and it's rated for 135 HP max.Seems like a no brainer with 148 prop HP. Boat would fly.Any thoughts?

Location: Aurora IL | ETEC s don't get a lot of love by this crowd. I run a 115 and it will run circles around any other 115 out there. They can be a little touchy about gas, so I run a 2nd inline water separating fuel filter, always use startron or any good treatment and have them set the motor to run on XD50 oil but run XD100. You'll love it, especially when you're winterizing it yourself at the launch on the last trip each fall. Great motors. Bill |

| Man, I'd LOVE to hang a 135 HO on a 681 or, even better, an E-Mag console. That would be a ride! |

Must be the only HP E-Tec that will run circles around other same HP motors.
They're all making good motors these day. Pick the dealer your most comfortable with. |

Location: Cave In Rock Illinois | Luv my E-tec 115HO. Super quiet, idles like a charm & fogging is a snap.
