These also have a solid beer & grub selection & they're extremely close by: The Muddy Pig 162 Dale St N St Paul, MN 55104 651-254-1030 muddypig.com Sweeney's Saloon 96 Dale St N St Paul, MN 55102 651-221-9157 sweeneyssaloon.com The Happy Gnome 498 Selby Ave St Paul, MN 55102 651-287-2018 thehappygnome.com

Other good Middle East eats there too. edit: just saw muskiemetal above suggest w/ the link. It is on grand...go there. It's good! Edited by muskyroller 3/19/2014 5:15 PM

Posts: 1038 Location: North St. Paul, MN | Totally agree on the blue door...however, any juicy lucy the fatal flaw is having to over-cook the meat in order to melt the cheese. Then, you end up with tough, not tender hamburger. Blue Door has, in my opinion, the best cheese curds and fried green beans in MN. Those two alone are worth the trip. Get there at a non-peak time or the wait will be a while. For me, the best, most tender hamburger is Bulldawg in Northeast Minneapolis. Tender and seasoned perfectly. Shamrocks is good and the Nook over by Cretin is always good too. Anyone ever try the Anchor Bar in Northeast for the fish and chips? Now that's good eatin' too! 3$, ice cold beers on tap, too. I think I've eaten way too many burgers and at way too many joints in my thirty six years.

Posts: 3164 | Talk to me about thermoclines I'll listen take your word talk to me abou genetics,,,I'll listen and take your word talk to me about weeds vs rocks,,Ill listen take your word. Talk to me about PIZZA and Im gonna get loud Carbones on Randolph ave just about a mile or so from expo has the BEST thin crust pizza that MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH,,This is one of the 'original carbones' independently owned much different then the other outlets. The guy who owns it is also the guy who first helped, pushed for, raised money, and stocked white bear lake,is currently in Charge of rearing and buying muskies for the metro for MI,,a former PMTT team for many years and has is has serious a muskie guy has there is in metro a lot of you guys know him by face..and NO Im not saying go there because of that its because the pizza is the best THIN crust around paper thin with hand picked specially selected cheese and toppings a family tradition run biz,, The reason why John the owner gets to fish muskies so much is because the pizza maybe thin crust but it makes him a lot of dough with all the biz,Its GOOD!!!! Red Savoys or savoys is excellent pizza more traditional crust or O'Garas,,,has excellent food and guys hang out there 3 nights of show not just on sat nite swap they go after set up on thurs,,after show on fri, sat,,, theres always some musky guys there, If you go Carbones treat it like a sweat shirt and go two sizes larger then normal when ordering, that juicy thin crust melts in your mouth and goes down fast your gonna want more!!!! , Edited by happy hooker 3/20/2014 4:19 PM
