Hi,
Just wondering what some of your thoughts are on Canadian waters(mesotrophic) that contain distinct mudlines during early season? I had no luck finding or seeing fish near mudlines during last years opener. My thought process led me to believe that the fish would stay away from mud lines and areas during early season due to silt and mud covering spawned eggs. What are your thoughts?

I, too, have never had any luck fishing mud lines in Canada. I always thought it has to levels of disolved oxygen and silting the gills.
