I have a Ranger Reata 1850 that I fish three guys out of a lot. Would like to keep the front to myself, too crowded with 2 up there. I don't use the 2 back swivel seats when fishing. Was thinking of getting the 241614 rectangular deck box to put in back of the driver or passenger seat and putting the third guy on top of that. Has anyone done similar and does it work okay? Would slide box to port or starboard, depending which side fishing out of. Thanks.

As long as it's big enough to safely stand on a Justencase box will hold up just fine. I have a second box that sits ahead of my deck box (so behind the passenger seat) that doubles as a third casting position and it works out great. The lid is 21x31 and it is a comfortable size for standing.

Have also built the 241614 model with two lift outs/removable boxes as well.
Another option is to build a Custom that goes over the top of cup holder on the floor in the back corner that can be moved to either side. Let me know if you would like to discuss options. Thanks, Bob Schmitt 952 401-8909
