I want to put some 5/0 774's on a couple of my Believers that I use a lot, not really sure what is on them now.. My concern is, will this make a noticeable difference in the action of the bait?

Jake ---- go out on the lake (if it ever thaws) and troll about 2mph,,,, bring your bigger sized hooks ,,, put out 5' of line with your rod tip down a foot in the water and watch the action of the lure with the factory hooks ,,, change up hooks and watch the difference the bigger hooks make ,,, its a trial and error type of thing ---- it just takes time ---- jim
to save time ,, if you have numerous Believers,, have the various sized bigger hooks on the lures before you go out ----

On a Believer not sure if it will change it much just because of how bouyant the bait is and how wild the action is. Give it a try and let use know. For other baits I have increased hook size/weight to help stablize a lure that seems to blow out from time to time but these are thinner baits and more of the 'Jake' style bodies.
