I am very new to this craze but get out at least four times a week from Mid May through October. I have landed and lost a good number of fish through my first year but I have had zero luck at night. The lakes I fish are stocked with both Hybrid and regular musky fry every year but it seems that the majority of the fish (all of them for me) have been hybrids. I have had guys tell me they caught spotted but have never seen one caught. I believe the majority of the fish are hybrids and I guess my question is do hybrid muskies hit at night? If they do what lures are good for night fishing?

Yes hybrids will hit at night, I've just never caught one since they always seem to miss my creeper.

Fished at night for 42 years, caught only one Northern and 0 Hybrids. I think I have caught every other strain, including Lac Seul biggies at night. I must admit that 98 % of the time I have surface baits on and this may have an effect. I have fished at least 20 lakes that have great hybrid populations over the years.

Your millage may vary,

I Think Muskies Are Shy Of Boat Lights. The Rear White Light Anyways. I've Watched Then Come In, And Instantly Turn Away When They Came IntotThe Light. I've Also Witnessed Them Totally Freak Out The Second You Turn On Your Headlamp To Net Them. Using The Green Or Red Light On The Front Of The Boat Seems Ok Tho. Plus, It Doesn't Attract Many Bugs. Maybe It's Just Coincidence, But The Biggest Fish Landed At Night Was In Pure Darkness With No Lights On At All.

Yes, they spook from your boat light, no doubt! I don't recommend fishing without lights, but I dim the lights by putting a sock over it. Most of the fish you catch at night are very close to the boat when they bite, and I've had fish flare hard right at the boat. There is no other explanation for this except them seeing the light. Being very stealth is key at night.
