I am looking to get out of using just any old hook that I have. After spending time researching things I've decided to switch to Mustad KVD 3X Triple Grip Musky hooks for my crank baits. I like the hook but noticed they seemed a bit heavier than what I was used to (3X). The hooks weight 4.0 grams each. I weighed other 3/0 hooks that I had and noticed most were running 2.9-3.5 grams. Would 1 gram per hook throw a baits running ability off?
