Mine favorite is my jungle camo USARMY issue boonie hat.[:halo:] |

| Thanks for the plug Derek...if I'm ever in your area I'll be happy to speak on the aspects of "The Southern Dummy Syndrome"[;)].Actually one of my favorite fishing hats is a Columbia Sportswear prto-type one of a kind deal. I was in N.C. at my favorite bait shop picking up some mullet + shrimp + saw the hat on a foam dummy head in the window + pulled it off his head. There was no price tag so I took it up front + asked the new girl working the register how much...she said how much are the other hats + I gave her $12.00 bucks for it counting tax. It is a low profile grey nylon w/ Columbia Sportswear embroidered on the front along w/ a redfish(drum) in the middle. It is quick drying + stays on flying down a lake or inlet flat. I also have a khaki nylon flats hat that has the sun blocker that snaps on that I really like also I picked up at the in-laws at Ocean City Inlet in south Jersey. I will be heading to N.C. at the end of Oct. for the annual freezer re-stocking + will pick up another "favorite" from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center! [:sun:] |

| My lucky hats seem to wear out every few years. I save them all and have quite a smelly sweat stained collection. I’ve learned darker hats look better longer, although hot on dog days. Current model is from home camp, a black and red Big Musky resort baseball cap. My next favorite hat will be from a newly forming partnership to be named later. I know it will be a quality hat/venture. [;)] |

| Two rare 1976 ZZ Top tour caps given to me by the Rev. Billy Gibbons.
Hot stuff, and they bring me very good luck on and off the water.

| Lucky hat is a very abused usa ccm hockey hat. It's been a true producer! |
| |
| For me hats are only good for about 30 fish. Then I seem to go through a dry spell until I can change hats. Right now I have a Mercury opti max hat that has been good but its getting near its limit.
You can always tell a good fishing hat on someone. If it was black and lots of sun make it blue, thats a goodin. |

| tomyv- its got to be the hat! my old ccm usa hockey hat is by far my top producer. |
| |
| oh no! now there's gonna be a shortage of usa hockey hats cuz everybody's gonna want one! lol. Those hat's last long and fit nice too. |

| I pick my hat and clothing for that matter for the weather conditions I fish. I have a black AME racing engines or my falcon cap that I will wear when it's cold and my st. croix hat in the hot sun because it's light colored. Same with my clothes. Light colored when it's warm and dark colored when it's hot. |

| I have an ancient Mariner Outboards hat that is from the introduction of the line to the US that was my lucky hat for years. Now I wear the Mercury Pro team hats Pam sends me proudly, and never let one get too nasty.[:halo:] |
| |
| I switch between the Merc.Pro Team hats and Tracker Pro Team hats, also at times wear a St.Croix cap and late in the fall bring out the Lucky LLUNGEN hat.But more important are the pair of old Danner Lacer Boots covered with 15 years of Musky Slime and Ding, don't leave shore in November with out them on my feet.

| Gotta be my "just fish" hat purchased at Gander. I've caught most of my fish with it on.
In fact, my Five year old boy stole it from me after I started wearing my newly acquired "Llungen Lures" cap. He caught his first musky with my hat! Good for him I say. I gave him the hat, and he wears it to kindergarten everyday.
Good fishin' |

| My favorite since last Christmas is an Al Agnew hat with a jumping musky on it. My wife ordered it as a present last year when she realized I had been terminally infected with Musky Pox....a very smart woman.
