Awesome! How's the action with those lip angles, I assume they're pretty erratic.

Yeah they go nuts in the water. I've been making my lip angles pretty steep by having the ballast heavy enough and getting the lowest part of the belly to stay down! They end up just barely floating, but they really push water around and make a fuss. The last 2 lures have a drinking straw in their backs running along the top making a long buoyant air pocket.. (wasn’t planning on giving that away, but what the heck! lol). When the top really wants to float, and the bottom really wants to sink I've found the lures get stable enough for steep lips and crazy actions. You still get a rolling or flanking action like other crankbaits, but you also get a lot more tail kicking side to side action and random direction change with faster stop and go retrieves.

Really excited for that new soft tail spinner model! I'm going to come up with 4 more paint patterns.. I'm thinking Firetiger, Sunfish, Sucker, and a black and white bonefish right now.

I've been thinking about a spinner very similar to those. Just not enough hours in the day.

I really like baits with those lip angles. Baits like that are hard to find but are worth their weight in gold.

I completely agree, I just started making wood baits last summer mainly because it's so hard to find those types. I'm no where near the level of these baits though!

Finished this guy the other day. I really like doing this long eared sunfish paint scheme with a lot of pearl paints.. it's for sure one of my favorites!

I wanted to make a lure I could call the "Lavatiger" for some reason.. and this is the result. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
