******* Public Announcement ********

The Just Ranger Musky Fishing Club of North America is now accepting applications for membership. (Note - we have no vacancies at this time, but we want to keep applications on file in case something opens up.) Please submit a letter of interest to this thread, explaining why you are a decent candidate for membership.

It will be helpful for you to recognize that the club is about as worthless as its membership, and that right now there is only one fairly worthless member. Preference will be given to those applications that further the club's image of misfits who think life is little more than ignorantly surfing through the magic of space and time. There are no benifits to membership, though there may be some liabilities. Serious applicants should also respond to the following questions...

1. Who is your favorite author?
2. What was the best concert you ever saw?
3. Have you ever been mooned by Shady?
4. Have you ever seen a ghost?

Thank you equally for your interest and disinterest.

Dear Sirs,
Enclosed please find my application to the JRMFCNA. I would be honored to be a member of this elite group. If/when a vacancy should come up, please notify me via email of my chances of being accepted.

1. Book-Hemingway or Steinbeck, magazine-Stange
2. Tough call, but probably GD July 4, 1990 (too many dead shows to
remember), with a close second to the Clash in '83.
3. Fortunately no, the times I have shared space with Shady there was no
moon (my favorite phase of the Shady moon).
4. Ghost is an odd word, but yes. And when I told my wife about it creeped
her out so much that she cried (I'm not the Art Bell type).

1. J.D. Salinger
2. Trip Shakespeare
3. Yes
4. No, does a monkey on the back count?

I have personal knowledge of the joker....er, Ranger, that started this club. I had better get in, and I mean soon. Not that it's needed, but here is my app anyway:

1. Dick Pearson
2. The Boss, 7/12/84 Alpine Valley
3. Yup. MF Bone Lake Outing, He was climbing back into the boat just after I dumped him off the tube in MuskyOne's wake. His trunks fell off. I felt really bad for the kids.
4. The kids were white as, after 3. above

Membership satnds at 2, now. Right Ranger, ole buddy, ole Pal?

**************** Public Announcement *******************

JRMFCNA is overwhelmed at the number and quality of membership applications that have been recently received. (Frankly, in the past, we've never received even a single iota of interest from anyone.) A special emergency meeting of the club's Executive Committee has been scheduled for the purpose of reviewing bylaws that limit membership to a single misfit. In the meantime, applications will continue to be accepted.

Note - JRMFCNA's team of legal advisors have strongly urged that the club not grant any applicants special consideration, regardless of those applicants' appealing personal qualities. Why? Deviation from the bylaws creates fertile grounds for litigation, and litigation reduces funds that are available to purchase musky stuff.

Please wathc this thread for additional information. Thank you very much.

Sweet, I always wanted to be at the ground level of a muskie club.

1. Favorite author--Name and address withheld (published in Penthouse a lot in the late 80's)

2. Concert- The Who- Alpine Valley 1989

3. No moons here

4. Would someone as old as Worrall count as a ghost?

Ranger, seeing how your club bylaws make it exclusive to only yourself, it has put me in emotional distress. Here I finally think i will be accepted by at least somebody and it's all for not. I have been emotionally injured and can no longer function as a responsible adult. Somehow, I feel the need to be compensated. I will have my legal staff, contact your legal staff so work out a method of compensation.
