Posts: 109 | I lookin for a new xh 9' rod mainly for big blades but will use for cranks and such too. Can't break the bank so wanting to stay around $150. I have an xxh ti that I like but was wondering if others like something better? I was looking at tooth tamer or if anyone had any other suggestions. Thanks.

Posts: 54 Location: Minnesota | Try the ToothTamer and you won't be disappointed. Light very and very durable 3 years strong on mine. By the way I put 30-40 a week on them I've gone through more reels than rods!

Posts: 38 Location: WI | You will get lots of comments on here on which way to go. I would stick with TI and go with an XH. Very nice rod and excellent customer service.

Posts: 113 Location: Twin Cities | Both make great rods and offer excellent customer service and won't break the bank. You'll be happy either way. I've heard not so good things about the guides on the MI rods...
