| There was a lot of hype initially to the release of 360 Imaging. Saw a few commercials and iCast videos, etc. Gotta admit, I've heard very little since. Haven't seen it being demonstrated on Fishing shows, haven't heard much chatter. Am I alone or does it seem its not catching on? If anyone has any real world experience using it, would like to hear any details - pro or con. Thx.. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Humminbird has a new mount for their 360 that mounts on some trolling motor shafts, I think this will make it more popular. I think allot of people where leery of a $2500 unit that would stick down below the level of your boat when in use. The trolling motor mounted unit is much safer and a little cheaper.
Lowrance has Spotlight which is a transducer mounted on trolling motor that shows whatever way the trolling motor is pointed and is much less than the H'bird 360. Have not heard much on these yet as they are brand new. |

| This past year I bought the iPilot Terrova w/Link and dual 998si's with the thought of possibly adding the 360 later. I did hear the 360 will now mount to the trolling motor...but of course not to the Terrova.
I agree, something a little more cheaper, durable, safer would be the way to go... I had just hoped it would fit the electronics I just bought.. |

| My understanding is that the trolling motor mounted transducer for the 360 Imaging is only available on cable steer trolling motors, thus excluding the Terrova. What a bummer.. |
