Some of my favorite rods now have a few Cork divits small missing pieces here and there nothing big but just enough to annoy me. Can these be repaired or filled easily. and what about a scratch by the hook holder from hook rub. I was thinking of clear nail polish. thnx JB

Sandpaper, sawdust, and wood glue work just fine for me. Last Spring I did repairs on a bunch of my panfish rods and my wife got a little upset assuming I had an entirely new arsenal.
