Posts: 304 Location: PA | Took one of my old real deal designs and made a swim bait out of it. This one is 8" inch slow sinking. I love to paint trout, and will be doing a brook and rainbow also. I made a single split swim bait because they tend to glide a bit further.

Posts: 140 Location: Northern Illinois | did you catch that beauty on a dry fly or nymph? Nice work. I'd put it on the wall not in my tackle box.

Posts: 1360 Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I see all these crazy sick paint jobs on here. How long does it take you to paint something that well and make it look so real? I would think with all the detail that it would take some time?

Posts: 304 Location: PA | This brown trout pattern does take a while. All the spots are painted on then a small white halo is airbrushed around them. All of the scales are tipped in gold like a real trout has. The airbrush has to be behaving perfectly to paint the pattern. Thanks again
