I have used Tuf Line for years no problems .Put Sufix 832 on 2 reels last year I liked that also .I need to respool reels this spring. just wondering if any thing new is coming out this year. I normally buy a 1500 yard spool 80 # and 500 yard spool 100 # |

Location: Aurora | Not new but new to me - I've run TufLine for years like yourself and decided to go with a darker line so I ran the musky master 80# camo this year with good results. Feels smoother to the touch to me and proved just as strong.
Also, have you tried spooling new line in late summer rather than the spring?
I've found new line doesn't ice up nearly as bad during fall fishing. |

Probably gonna try this stuff, this year. Had problems with Spiderwire and switched to PowerPro a few years ago. It holds up fine, but frays and holds a lot of water. The Slick not so much water, but still leaves you with wet hands sometimes. I'm hoping the Masterbraid won't do that. |

Location: Vilas County, WI | I stopped using PowerPro a couple years ago because I didn't like how it held water and sprayed (as mentioned above). I switched to Spiderwire Stealth and Suffix 832. I think the 832 is the best line I've come across (IMO). I'll be using that from now on. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Sunline FX2. Best braid out there. Super round and smooth. I spooled up with it in March, and fished in freezing temps. This stuff just does not hold water, so my hands stayed dry and warm. It's also tinted blue & green, so looks great in many water colors. And, the wear factor is almost non existent. I used to use Spiderwire Stealth, and would have to cut off around 20' from the end because of fraying. I went an entire season on FX2, didn't cut any off the end, and there still isn't a single fray anywhere. I used it while ice was on the lakes in November, and it still didn't retain water. It's a little more expensive per 150yds, but when it lasts 3 times longer, you'll be happy you tried it!
