Location: minocqua, wi. | learned the double line to the leader for cranks on rocks from Herbie … good trick that helps. key is to re-tie when you need to re-tie keeping an eye on your line as you fish. |

Location: St.John, Indiana | Also use the double line to leader style on some of my rods, But in most cases retire every time I catch a fish . Unhooking, wrapped line through mouth/gill plate or even another hook has caused a weak spot . I don't take chances as fish are tough enough to catch.
