Boat Specialist - Josef Danek. Great guy and very knowledgeable with Merc motors. Located in Bensenville but well worth it.
Call 630-595-7611.

No problem with Mark, good guy. But with Cabelas service fees your paying a bit. Only reason I don't usually go there.

It's bad that one business can give others a bad thought of other businesses in the area. Just got my boat back and have to tell you I always leave there happy. He ( Josef ) is very familiar with the business. Was two time hydroplane speed racer champ, and with that it tells you he knows his motors.
Helpful, informative and knowledgeable. Gotta give him a try.

but generally speaking if you look up a marine mechanic on the map and don't see lots of blue surrounding the pin marking their address you probably want to look elsewhere.

Youre right...no blue on the map near Chicago whatsoever. Really. Not Much at all.

Slamr, Dave is in Algonquin...and I've been very pleased with his work.
