| Does anyone have experience using a Tranx hg for a dedicated rubber reel? I used a Calcutta 400D on a Big Dawg for mag dawgs and pounders this season for comparision. I use a Tranx pg for blades so I know how big and how much these reels weigh. |

| HG is excellent big rubber choice. Line pick up makes ripper easier. Reel has the beef to handle the abuse as well. I use a PG for mine, but am debating on switching since the torque is rather irrelevant when it comes to rubber. |

| Works great for me. Controlling slack line is a breeze. |

| HG is the best rubber reel you can buy. 43 inches per crank.....easy to pick up the slack. you can feel bites much faster, which leads to better hookups.....which leads to more fish in the net.
Pair it up with a Predator XXH and you have the best all around rubber combo out there. mag dawgs up to 2 pounders. Awesome set up |

What Timmy said... I have mine on an XH Predator as I prefer that to my XXH for all rubber except 2 pounders...
