Really depends on the wood weight, wood type, mass, prop size, weight, etc. Good post here. These guys are masters of building these topwater baits and will give you a lot of great pointers. I owe my entire business today to the M1 Basement bait builders here on M1. Great group of guys. One FYI for you. Try a few designs and test them. Build, test, build, test, and you will learn a lot from your own mistakes and successes.
