Minneapolis city lakes Harriet and Calhoun chain are still open and free from ice,,One of the inspectors told us its rumored that Nokomis will be shut down on Nov 1st next year. Were hoping they just wont go for all city lakes if they see a lack of traffic in Nov.They now have to have two inspectors at launch after dark which they may look at cost vs traffic. Bring the boat out

Temp is supposed to be almost 40 for highs on Saturday and Sunday. Might try Sunday and see whats cooking.

I was out on Harriet about a week back and had 1 decent follow slow rolling a double ten. Anyone else been out there lately?

Walked around harriet this morning, there was about 10-15 feet of ice at the boat ramp and though most of the north shore is ice free, parts of the south shore have probably 50 feet of ice.
