Location: Madison, WI | All I can tell ya is it's been incredibly difficult out there. Know there's some big time guides in the Madison area on here so hopefully they can provide a little more insight. I've been getting killed out there though :/ And not for lack of trying. haha |

Location: Hayward WI | Was on Waubesa last saturday morning. There was mabye a foot of visibility, surface temps were 50-53, only saw one muskie roll. I saw RK Diver was out on Monona on the 18th "Surface temp was 58°F, in 30 FOW it was around 63°F." With the cold and wind this week, it should be close to turning I'd think.
Good luck.

Location: Oregon, WI | I don't believe they pull the piers at Babcock on Waubesa until they close the landing. Not sure when they pull them at Olin on Monona. Maybe someone else can chime in here regarding this: Is there a landing on Monona where they don't pull the piers until ice up??? |

| They dont pull the piers at babcock since it doesn't freeze because of the current, they just close the launch (lock the gates). Olin park does not close so you can launch without a pier. Last year I think they had one pier into Dec. I believe that someone from the park is a musky guy and leaves at least one in late. But like I said you can still launch if they pull the piers, just have to bring some rubber boots.

Location: Oregon, WI | You can launch at Olin w/o the piers but its tough if you're by yourself. Even tougher if wind is blowing in. That's why I was wondering if there is a landing on monona that leaves the piers in???
