Any ideas on where to start? The shaft on my maxxum turns, but the arrow on the head no longer turns. Is this an easy fix?

ya its pretty easy, take the bottom screws out, usually the track comes off, just make sure you have it lined up before you get it all back together, took me 2 trys to get it straight but its not hard at all.

Mine had a little knob on the underside of the arrow. Had to order a new arrow, and take the cover off, that the arrow sits in. Not at all hard to fix. Good Luck Doug

Very easy. If you need parts, look online for exploded views or google "minkota parts" and you'll get suppliers and a couple of them have the diagrams. They're very easy to repair with basic tools. I rebuilt my whole Terrova before I sold it. Jones Trolling Motor is a great place to deal with, though I don't think they have the diagrams on their site.
