![]() Location: Sawyer County, WI | I have a Curado 301E that is a great reel, but nothing I've tried beats my 401TEs. They have been flawless over the past 7 years.

Posts: 44 | My 300EJ is getting used more and more, however I have found a ton of uses for the tranx and not just the big stuff.

Posts: 1082 Location: Aurora | Late 70's/early 80's era Shimano Bantam 500's. Pros - Comfy in the hand, mainly stainless & bronze/brass construction for salt use, and cheap in comparison to newer reels. They also seem to go up in value each year. Cons - Not the smoothest/quietest in the arsenal, drag could be better, and not the best choice for burning.

Posts: 192 | TE's 300 and 400 are by far the best I've ever used. I haven't used the Conquest reels but if Pikemaster says they are the best, I trust his opinion.

Posts: 427 Location: Planet Meltdown | Love my 401TE and Curado's and Revo. The TE is a beast, I took it to Cabo with me and it had no problem handling 25lb Yellowfin Tuna, Man was that fun.......Tuna on light tackle.

Posts: 458 | 401TE and the Curado. I have (2) 401Ds and the jury is out but I think they will be good reels.
