It was great for me yesterday to get to meet many of the members that I knew previously only by screen name, lots of great guys and gals that make up the muskieFIRST community! Talked to alot of people who like to read the site, but not be involved too.....GREAT to have you also, hopefully MuskieFIRST can be a place to learn about all the many different facets of muskie fishing from baits to boats to lakes to SPONGE-OLOGY! But remember, if you have a question, there is a strong chance that many out there can benefit from the advice direceted to you.....if you have a different tactic or way of doing things, there is a great chance that others may have never thought of it! From a one fish newbie to a pro like a Doug Johnson, no one ever knows EVERYTHING about chasing muskies, and no two muskie chasers go about it exactly the same!

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Sorry I couldnt make it to the show today....Nana's emphasema combined with the flu had me at her place taking care of her for 6 hours today. 5 hours into not having a cigarrette, and I can tell you this: NICORETTE TASTES LIKE PPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Location: Kentucky | SLAMR- You can do it dude !!! I smoked 2 1/2 packs a day until I had by-pass surgery at 36 yrs old!!!! Keep your head up!!! It's really tuff, but nothing compared to getting your chest cracked wide open! The first 4 days are the tuffest. Even harder if you have a few beers! Keep a positive "can do " Attitude. I'll get off my soap box now!! Good luck to you!!

I dropped $110 to get the smoke away plan, so I'm gonna do it right and be smoke free in a week....god you listening here?

I order to quit smoking you are going to have to buy a GIANT MUSKIE BOAT WITH A MONSTER MOTOR!!!!! Then and only then will you be free of the urge to light up and you will also not be able to say how small your boat is compared to everyone elses!!!!!
In all seriousness, i hope you do kick it. My Dad was a chain smoker for 40+ years until he died of it. You could see it coming and anybody would have quit if they saw my Father right before he passed and what smoking can do to a persons body.
Ok enough of that! You still need to get a big ass boat!! |

I quit when I was about 26 or so. It wasn't easy, but was welll worth the effort. I will personally guarantee you a free weekend for you and a guest at Worrall's Hideout any time in the future you want to choose if you officially quit. I will show you Pelican, Boom, and Crescent during that time. There is also a new 7'6" Fig Rig Rod in the deal if you quit and stay off the killer weed for the summer.
