I am heading out tomorow and won't have much time to fish. My plan is to slow roll 13's. Which reel would be better for that application? I would try both but don't want to lose time. The te has a power handle.

I have a 401D and a 401conquest with a power handle, and the 401conquest is what i feel, is the easiest.

The 400te was easier to slow roll the 13's.

I'm not sure if i'm wrong but, don't you also have a tranx HG with a power handle?

If so you can remove some of the backing, there buy decrease the spool diameter, that makes it even easier to work the dc13's and helps to slow down.

You are correct, thank you for the advice that's a great idea. I leave my tranx alone as I throw rubber as well and want the fast pick up. With the 400 te it felt like the blades weren't even turning.
