I've spent a good chunk of my time on an inner metro lake so far this year but they've all gone cold on me and I'm looking to get into some Halloween action. Anyone have advice on what lakes offer good chances tomorrow? I'm thinking either Wayzata bay area, waconia, wbl, or maybe independence. All are foreign bodies to me so any pointers would be great. Heck, anywhere within an hour or so would be fine. I need to get some slime in the net before the season ends.

The city lakes typically kick out some decent fall fish. A guy in the North Metro Chapter stuck a 53.5" on Calhoun in November of 2011. That fish was released, so could be even bigger today!

To my knowledge there are no bad fall lakes in the metro. Just fish basic fall stuff like steep breaks. It shouldn't take too much time on smaller city waters to figure out the spots where the fish are concentrating, then just work it until the window opens.
