Had an awesome couple days on fishtrap lake. boated 5 in 2 days between 2 boats. had 3 that picked up & dropped suckers before we could set the hook, 2 others where the quick-strike rig just tore out of their mouth, 2 missed hits on top h2o & 3 follows. the action was all on thursday & friday. after that, the cold moved in , the pressure dropped, & so did the action. we threw for bass after that & caught over 150 bass & 3 big northern in the last 2 days of our trip. for anyone headed that way, the water is turning over. with the recent temp drop & plenty of cold rain & snow, the water is starting to mix.

Nice you had a few days extra before the front. Sounds like you had some good action. It is tough when you have just the weekend and the weather can cause the fishing to be hit or miss.
