Location: Milwaukee, WI | Had an awesome couple days on fishtrap lake. boated 5 in 2 days between 2 boats. had 3 that picked up & dropped suckers before we could set the hook, 2 others where the quick-strike rig just tore out of their mouth, 2 missed hits on top h2o & 3 follows. the action was all on thursday & friday. after that, the cold moved in , the pressure dropped, & so did the action. we threw for bass after that & caught over 150 bass & 3 big northern in the last 2 days of our trip. for anyone headed that way, the water is turning over. with the recent temp drop & plenty of cold rain & snow, the water is starting to mix. |
