Location: Waconia, MN | Wondering what type of leaders you guys use/trust when trolling big fall cranks? I would hate to lose a headlock, plow, or any lure for that matter. I currently run 4 ft long 130 lb mono leaders. What do you guys think?

Location: Eastern Ontario | I use a 100 , 130lb. Flourocabon leader about 2 feet shorter than the rod. For bouncing rocks I like nylon coated wire 90 lb. about the same length replaced when nylon shows wear.
I have never used a hard mono leader but they have been used in the salt for years and I am considering trying them. I haven't entirely bought into the supposed benefits of Flouro |

| I run 4' long 130# and 200# Flouro. Haven't had any issues. I do not troll near rocks though, my home water doesn't really have that structure feature. |

Location: lansing, il | Based on sales of our leaders, most guys running bigger lures, are staying between 130-200# test Fluorocarbon. 3-4ft long on average. In wire, 90# Coated stranded wire in 3-4 foot also. Mono will stretch alot more than Fluorocarbon. Also Mono is not as abrasion resistant as Fluoro. |
