Posts: 295 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Everyone's invited to Smokey's Muskie Shop this Saturday, Sep. 21. 200 extended growth muskies are going to be stocked. These muskies were purchased with the money from last year's "Two Charlies" tournament, along with some additional muskies donated by Gollon's Fish Farm of Dodgeville. The truck should arrive at around 11:00 or so. Stop by and have a beer and a hotdog and take part in the future of Pewaukee Lake muskie fishing. Please check out the thread in the Tournament section about this years tournament, "The Three Charlies". It is coming on Oct. 12 and it's proceeds will be used for the same purpose next year. Thanks to everyone that helped by participating in last years event and thanks to Gollon's for their generous donation.

Posts: 16 | Pewaukee Lake holds some great memories for me. When I was really young we lived up there (I have lived in Indiana most of my life), and my favorite uncle...Uncle Charlie lived up most of his life and was an avid musky fisherman on Pewaukee for many years. I remember taking several trips to Wisconsin to visit Uncle Charlie and the rest of the family. And we would always spend a lot of time out on Pewaukee. And that was where I got my first taste of Musky fishing. And where I caught my first one. I remember seeing news paper clips of him with different musky that he had caught. And he would always mail me pictures of the big ones.. I am just remaniscing here...Lots of good memories from that lake.

Posts: 295 Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Thanks again to everyone that participated in the 2012 Two Charlies. It was your entry fees that made this possible. Thanks again to Gollon's Fish Farm of Dodgeville for their generosity as well! Here's a little video from the release on Saturday. There were quite a few kids who got a chance to help with the stocking process. It was great! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VmZ406ItaQ Attachments ---------------- fishshocking.jpg (189KB - 157 downloads)
