Can anyone tell me what model Tuffy this is ? I was contemplating buying this as a fall/winter Project........All I know is that it is a 17 footer and it has a 50 Mercury with power trim and tilt and the Power head was just Rebuilt.....Interior carpeting is worn and ripped, Hull is Solid and no damage.. My other concern is that this 50 hp Mercury is too small for this boat? And how hard this would be to re carpet this type of boat. Any help would be Thanks Mike [email protected]

Looks like an 1760 Osprey, probably mid to late 90's.

Carpet is easier to do than most people think.

That is a 1999 1700 T renegade, the model prior too the esox 1700T. That is my actual old boat, sold it to a friend in NJ when I was living out east. Great ride, lots of good memories. When I had the boat it had a 60 hp on it. It had good hole shot and would top out at 31-32. BR

Ben is correct, and a 50 will be fine on that boat.
