Location: Minneapolis, MN | With the temps dropping, 52 this morning in the MN metro area, will things stabilize by Sunday or is it going to be a tough bite? I know temps are supposed to go back up next week but this weekend would you focus more on slow vs fast? Glider vs. bucktail? |

| Sometimes it can be hard to remember that these aren't cooldowns but average seasonal temps. Its just a weird year! |

| Fished today northern mn nothing but one small guy others sallow we went shallow.. THEN guy at boat landing said three he caught in deep water with depth raiders... just a heads up |

| Two this week after work. High 30's w/ a bulldawg shallow and a high 40's w/ a dbl10 in 7 feet. Lots of follows up shallow. |

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | I'd start about 2 cast's off the structure and then work my way in,.... If I don't see any skie's there then I will check really shallow (like1-2 ft of water) Cool down's are a bit tricky to figure out.... Look for current. |

Most of the 2500 people that viewed this are like me, working 50 weeks a year and not on the water to have any idea what the fish are doing on any given day! We're just looking around the site trying to get a little "Musky Fix" til the next time we can get out on the water. It will most likely be mid June before my Hawg Wobbler gets wet again.......Uh, you know what I mean.

I'm going to northern MN this fall and have little to no experience with the cool down. So I have no input for this thread but am very interested to see what people are saying/suggesting. My 2cents is.... cooler water = fatter fish.
