Picked up a used rod recently and I noticed almost all the eyes are a little loose, is there anyway to fix them without completely replacing them? The clear over them isn't cracked as far as I've noticed they just move around a little.

I assume that you are referring to the guide frames being loose in the wraps, not the inserts being loose in the frames. If so, the only way to fix it is to have it re-wrapped by a builder.

Ya, loose in the wraps.. not much but I was just wondering if its a simple fix or not to even worry about them.

Thanks

My advice would be to get the rod re-wrapped over the winter. The guides will eventually come completely loose and it will happen at the worst time.

There should be plenty of custom builders in your area that can handle it. Don't pay more than $10/guide to have it done.
