Does anyone know if it's possible to get a non GPS fish finder to use the GPS of one with built in GPS? Currently have a humminbird 597ci HD combo and looking to bow mount an 858c HD Combo but the 858 requires an external GPS hookup from what I can tell. Would prefer not to have to buy the external gps puck if I didn't have to. I only want the 858 so I can view the gps while operating the trolling motor.

The external receiver comes with the unit.

Ok. Guess I was getting thrown off by the fact that humminbird was listing the GPS receiver as a separate accessory.
