| It's just a fish, whose job it is to eat everything that swims that will fit in its mouth.
All the mystery and the lore and legend is all just that. It's fun. We all overthink the crap out of these fish. That's fun too. It's a fish. If it ain't over here, it's probably over there. If it didn't eat your lure, it just wasn't hungry. I've watched them staring at a sucker for a good ten minutes. Their brain is the size of a pea. Are we trying too hard?? Of course we are. We have to, or our wives would all figure out that we're nuts to spend all day chasing a fish we might not even see. |

| Not much compares to that feeling of casting and retrieving in hopes of seeing that one fish that changes everything. |

| Just remember that its not like the illustrations showing the spots and fish location... You don't look at that and then go out into a real-life situation and expect it to be like... ok, heres a fish, theres a fish, fish are always here, etc.
Its fun to educate yourself with facts and generalities when not fishing, but when actually fishing, an open mind is fun and peaceful and in turn leads to situations you may have never experienced.
There is no such thing as failure when it comes to fishing. |
