Anyone have any experience with this net? I am unable to get a replacement back for my current frabill, they have been back ordered for months at this point. I am thinking of making the switch back to Beckman. My early treated beckmans were fine, never used the finsaver. Thanks for the help. BR

Posts: 633 Location: Madison, WI | Love my beckman finsaver net! Much lighter than the frabill. Only thing about the frabill i liked better was the power lock yoke. I use mine in a 1760 tuffy and the bag is perfect depth and extremely easy to work on fish.

Posts: 427 Location: Planet Meltdown | Can't go wrong with a Beckman. Very easy lightweight net to handle by yourself. I do a lot of fishing alone and just make sure it's locked and ready for action as it doesn't have a power lock yoke.

Posts: 422 | I have the net and love it.......my only complaint is the yoke. That issue is well documented. Other than that it is a great net. I fish alone a lot and it handles really well. You might want to check and see, you may be able to remove the bag and put it on your Frabill. Can't go wrong either way.

Posts: 99 Location: West Virginia | I called everyone for my replacement 4666 bag and it was backordered everywhere I called. Decided to call frabil directly and they had 60 and had it to me in 3 days. Price was right too. Hope this helps.

Location: Eastern Ontario | Put a 1/4" cap screw in the end of the Beckman handle and grind a notch with a Dremel in the yoke to allow the cap screw to align the pin and hole.

Posts: 99 Location: West Virginia | Ben, it's really thick and seems to hold it's shape better. I can't say for the same quality as in years past, as i have never owned or used one, but definitely better than what is on the stowmaster. Seems to be similar quality as the big kahuna net bag. It is heavier, but that is an easy tradeoff for getting a fish out of the net in seconds compared to minutes. I just got it so there is no slime on it yet, but when I do get one in there, I will let you know.
