| It's hot here right now. Like 91* outside. Tonight's low is in the mid 60s.
It suppose to be this way for the next 4 days. Friday turns off cool with a high of only 72 and the low for the night 45*. Same weather for Saturday.
So does that qualify as a cold front? How do you guys fish these conditions? Keep in mind this is a small river situation where the water is much cooler than say cave run is right now. Do you fish on Thursday before the temps drop 20*, or is Friday or Saturday the day you shoot for? |

| If you are fishing a river system I would find a good access point by foot or boat and just start casting a 6" Jake or a Storm Swimshad. |

| In this particular river/creek. It's 88 miles long. There are 5 or 6 places that I can put in. I float it in my 10' bass hunter jon boat. Some sections the deep pools only go for a mile or so before coming to a riffle but some go on for 2 or3 miles. |

Location: Not far enough north! | Before and during the front if possible. Be there when the weather changes should be your best bet...

Location: Roscoe IL | Early morning topwater and fan cast like crazy, as the sun gets higher I would change up to a spinnerbait and fish weeds, wood or whatever the cover is. Then I would go sit by the pool around 1pm, get the girls in their bikinis, fill the cooler with beer & ice and do it all over again the next day. |
